Then, he saved Michael Jackson's career by first magically resolving a legal battle which involved a long term, disastrous contract which Michael Jackson had signed overseas that was preventing Jackson from performing; and signing Jackson to a very favorable contract with AEG, resulting in the This Is It Concert deal, as well as other lucrative ones. For several months, Tohme and Jackson had been corroborating with fashion designers on a clothing line based on Michael Jackson's style which would include "moonwalk shoes".

And then, as the producer of the first 3.5 minute television commercial in history that aired in the U.K., he made history by selling over 500,000 tickets in just 24 hours to Jackson's O2 Arena London Shows. It would have been the King of Pop's crowning glory.
